This would be a 5 star had it not been for the air conditioner being on the fritz. I truly felt for the incredible staff doing their best. Mgmt, get your sh*t together!
This place is a classic. Fantastic food and staff. Have been here many times. This time around, I tried the gnocchi! Light fluffy pillows of goodness in a flavorful marinara sauce. I decided to add some of their tasty meatballs. Yummy!
Also got a large pizza to go. Two slices is a full on meal.
Will gladly be back! Hopefully they get that ac fixed. -

The people giving this place bad reviews aren't getting the right things. I bounce back and forth between two excellent menu offerings: the pizza and the calzone.
I guess they are both basically the same thing, but I love the saltiness of the red sauce (I always get extra on the side). The crust is excellent, and they use quality toppings.
This place can get a bit busy, but the service never seems to suffer. I'm pretty sure this is the best of all the Diciccos, because it's the only one I tend to return to. -

Very good Italian restaurant in Madera. Looks like lots of locals here having big group lunches [since it is the Holidays]. The service was very good and the bread was not like most breads you get at most Italian places. It was very dense and heavy but very delicious. The waitress said that the Minestrone soup was made there which I would figure for a small family restaurant but I heard that there is more Diciccos. We were traveling through town and just found a place.
I had the spaghetti and marinera. It was OK. Obviously I have tried lots of marinera sauces and this would not be one of my favorites but it wasn't bad. I think its just a personal taste thing. -
